This past weekend, Amber and I shot Tamara and Todd's Wedding at Arden Hills Resort and Spa in Sacramento. It was yet another hot day but we kept blazin' on. Congratulations Tamara and Todd!
Alan here, I've done same day edited videos in the past but nothing like this one. It was by far, the largest and most gorgeous wedding ever with an Afghan and a Catholic Ceremony to boot! The event was running behind and my editing station was about 10 minutes walking distance from the reception site. I also only had about an hour and half to edit the last 3 minutes of the video. What else can go wrong? I was the only one who had the key to the room that I was editing and place was also being used as changing and chill station for the guests so I had to open and close the doors several times for them. But my video team pulled it off and I was pretty happy with the outcome. Yes, Artistic Imagery does video as well! Alan, here. Adriel and I spent the entire day in the bay area shooting my cousin, Jennifer's wedding. The day went so smoothly and it was a joy to shoot since I knew a lot of people that attended. One of our second shooters, Kei was also there but only as a guest. I wish all the weddings that I shoot were as relaxed and easy going as theirs! Being that the ceremony and reception was in the San Jose area, there weren't a lot of places to take outdoor pictures, so the bride and groom decided that the Cisco parking lot would be the best location since it's conveniently right across their reception site. It worked out pretty well for what it was. Congratulations Jennifer and Erwin!
Erika and Derryck's wedding was full of fun and surprises. Amber and I enjoyed every minute of it. From the singing groomsman during the ceremony which was greeted with laughter and embarrassment, to the chucks worn by all the guys and a special appearance by Michael Jackson during the reception, this was definitely a wedding to remember!
{This last picture can't be shown without the original clip... you'll understand why the guests were dying of laughter when this was sung at the beginning of the wedding. -Amber}
While Sharon and Amber were shooting Sunshine and Philip's wedding, Kei and I spent the afternoon and evening with the lovely couple Kellie and Paul and their funny/crazy bridal party at the Peach Tree Country Club in the Yuba City area. The temperature was awesome but we could've used a little less wind that day. By the way, I believe their ceremony was only three minutes long! Woohoo! Here are the pictures.... enjoy!
