Congrats Philip and Becca!

Alan here. This past weekend was a busy one for me. After visiting my sister down in socal, I drove up to Empire State Mine in Grass Valley with Kei and Scott. Let me tell you, when a couple hires all the right vendors for their wedding, the result can be breathtaking. The reception area had to be built from the ground up, everything had to be driven to the location for this event, from lounge furniture, drapes, tables, etc. This is one of the most gorgeous weddings Artistic Imagery has shot! Despite the limited photography time alloted to us, I still managed the time to capture some pretty awesome pics. Special thanks goes out to my lighting assistant Kei, and second shooter, Scott for a flawless event! Here are the faves from their day:

Congratulations Linda and Dusty!

This is the first wedding where we didn't have any ceremony shots at all! No, our cameras didn't fail, no we didn't arrive late or got lost to the ceremony site. Linda and Dusty already got married in Vegas. Woohoo! The couple showed a video of their Vegas wedding at the beginning of the reception and it worked out pretty well. Minus the ceremony time meant more time to focus on bride and groom photos.... Here are the favorites from the day.

Nicole and Steve's Engagement Photos

Yesterday, Amber and I got to spend the later part of the evening with Nicole and Steve. We’re shooting their wedding later in August at a vineyard in Murphys, CA. They showed us a new location to shoot in Sacramento called Sandy Beach. Such a gem! We also shot at a parking garage which got our creative juices going. It’s always challenging to find new ways to shoot creatively with ordinary surroundings. Here are the faves from the shoot.
