Micaella's Birthday Video

Oops! I lied about having Master and John's wedding, my last video edit of the year. This one is! This is Micaella's 7th birthday bash held in southern ca. She had a Hanna Montana themed birthday party complete with face painters, and a really cool DJ. Special thanks to my socal Artistic Imagery crew (Carlo and Anabel) and Kimi Vinuya for the extra hand on the video and photography.

Anabel's Bump

Happy Holidays, everyone! Alan, Michael and I are currently in Corona, visiting Alan's family. Alan's sister, Anabel, is pregnant with #2 (yay - a girl!), and wanted a family portrait to front the shower invitations. We don't normally shoot maternity sessions, but this was a quickie one with minimal nudity... so I let Alan do it. :)

We only really had one pose for this (we squeezed it into our day), so enjoy the lack of images...

Wedding Rings Stop Motion Animation

Here's a little fun experiment I shot for a recent wedding. The groom built his own muscle car Camaro and I thought it would be neat to incorporate his car (miniaturized version of course) into the wedding video I'll be editing for them. Let me know what you guys think!

Congratulations Emily and Ryan!

Alan here, I spent the day after Thanksgiving not at the malls ( I'll leave that up to Amber!), but in Chico, shooting Emily and Ryan's wedding. The day was spent with about 15-20 of their closest family and friends and it was one of the prettiest fall weddings I've shot by far. Emily wore her mother's wedding dress and the shoes her 3 month old daughter was wearing used to be Emily's. Special thanks to Alex of Grape Video for the lighting assistance! Congratulations you two on a very lovely wedding!

Sunrise in Cabo

Alan here, I've shot a time lapse of a sunset in CA. Now, I had the opportunity to capture a sunrise in beautiful Cabo! Here's the video for everyone to enjoy!

The Art of Giving Youth Conference

While Amber and her crew were shooting a wedding at Wine and Roses, I flew to the east coast and covered video and photography for a North Carolina Youth Conference entitled, the Art of Giving. There were about three hundred student philanthropists present and the atmosphere was just amazing. All the students were so eager to learn and everyone were so excited to be there. This has been one of the smoothest run conferences I've ever been a part of thanks to Eric Rowles, CEO of www.leadingtochange.com based in North Carolina. I would have to say, the highlight and the closer of the event was the amazing performance art of fellow artist and Sacramento native, David Garibaldi. This guy blew me away. In 30 minutes, he painted larger than life portraits of Kanye West (pictured below), Alicia Keys, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and Albert Einstein. Enjoy the non-wedding related pics!

Congratulations Minette and Jason!

Alan here, our crew had an awesome time spending the day with Minette and Jason. The ceremony was at the Cathedral on J Street and the reception was held at the Sheraton Grand about a block up the street. How convenient! Even though Minette barely had any sleep doing some last minute details, she had a blast dancing at the reception. All in all, it was a fun time for everyone.
