Lysette Davis Photo Session

This afternoon, Amber, Olivia (our new and awesome intern) and I shot Lysette's Photo Session in Old Town Sacramento. We had such a great time that we didn't realize we were shooting for much longer than we should have. Hey, if you love what you do... besides, Lysette was all smiles on this shoot! I tried to make her show me an angry face, but it ended up being a cute grrr followed by a big laugh from everyone. There's just not one single ounce of angry girl in her! Here are the faves! (Olivia, yes, your first photo shoot with us and one of your photos made it on the blog, yay!)

    Hi! I'm an amateur photographer and just wanted to say that your work is awesome! Curious, where in Old Sac was the first picture taken at (BW background). I'm always looking for neat areas to shoot. Thanks and keep up the great work.

    Prentiss - Thank you! The backdrop that you're referring to is one that we purchased at Urban Outfitters... that place has some awesome finds! The one in the shot is cream & brown, and we have another that's black & charcoal. We use them as backdrop options for our Photo Station at weddings. :)

    Oh, I thought it was some kind of wall paper all along hehe. Thanks for the tip... I'll have to check that out. I'll definitely be following your blog along. In fact, I've already referred you to a gal I know whose getting married next year. Yes, you've made THAT much of an impression on me. Thanks again for the quick response!
