Kim and Mike's Wedding Video Summary

It's the first edit of the year and I'm slowly progressing to where I want to be in terms of my editing and shooting style. Kim and Mike had a gorgeous wedding and a lively bridal party so filming their big day was a piece of cake. Special thanks to Adriel and Sharon for assisting me that day. Here's the video, enjoy!

Alan here, On May 30th, I will be shooting my first wedding at the Crest Theater for Julie and Joe. They're having an awesome hollywood themed event and I feel so privileged that they've chosen Artistic Imagery Video to capture their special day. And what better way to show off their upcoming wedding than with a Hollywood style movie poster! This 27"x40" will actually be hanging at the Crest Theater on the day of their wedding. Woohoo! So with this project gave me an awesome idea to provide our past and current brides...If any of you guys are interested in a framed movie poster from your wedding photos, they're currently priced at $300 each!

Platinum Planning Photo Shoot

Alan here! Amber Novey, an Artistic Imagery Bride and friend called me the other day because her event planning business, Platinum Planning ( www.platinumplanning.biz ) is being featured in Sac Bride and Groom Magazine and they needed her headshot for the article. So we spent about a half an hour downtown and chit-chatted about life, caught up on how her successful business is doing and how fast our son is growing up. Overall, the photo shoot went great and encountered some characters along the way. Here are the faves:

Jen & Erwin's After Session

(Ate) Jen and (Kuya) Erwin had their wedding back in June, but because we never had a chance to shoot their e-session, Alan and I spent yesterday afternoon shooting them at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. It's always fun shooting family!

Jonathan's Photo Shoot

Alan here. One of my best friends from high school needed some pictures so who did he facebook? Me of course! We haven't seen each other since we graduated and only two things have changed, his head is now shaved and I got fat. I had fun catching up on old times and Jonathan - dude, you rocked the camera! Buying that Modeling for Dummies book at Barnes and Noble did come in handy...

Micaella's Birthday Video

Oops! I lied about having Master and John's wedding, my last video edit of the year. This one is! This is Micaella's 7th birthday bash held in southern ca. She had a Hanna Montana themed birthday party complete with face painters, and a really cool DJ. Special thanks to my socal Artistic Imagery crew (Carlo and Anabel) and Kimi Vinuya for the extra hand on the video and photography.
